A little about me
Who am I?
I am a second-generation Asian American born and raised in the Bay Area. I grew up with a passion for art, reading, and writing, and to this day I continue to cultivate them as my hobbies.
I graduated from UC Davis with a BA in Design and a minor in History. Though my original focus was in interior design and architecture, I have since pivoted to graphic and product design. I enjoy merging my artistic background with my technical skills to develop innovative and creative solutions.
Where am I?
There was a period of my life where I was unsure of what direction I wanted to go in. When the COVID-19 pandemic struck, I began to look into other fields outside of interior design as I felt that I was no longer finding the same fulfillment I once did in that world. After some reflection, I began to pour my energy into graphic and product design and honing my skills.
Today, as a Graphic Designer, I enjoy putting my skills to the test and finding fresh inspiration to create elegant designs and products that put smiles on people's faces and find functionality in their daily lives.
Where will I go?
Though I no longer found satisfaction in my previous life as an interior designer, it taught me invaluable lessons about collaboration and communication - skills that I continue to carry to this very day. Combined with my positive attitude, tenacity, and growth-oriented mindset, I am constantly seeking opportunities to grow and expand my knowledge and skills as a designer.
